I think that it is very important to play an instrument. I play the French Horn and the Piano. I enjoy it very much. It is important to play an instrument so you can be well - rounded, you will know if you are a musician, and it teaches you to appreciate musicians.

         Playing an instrument will help you to be well rounded. First of all, it’s good to know how to do other things than just sit around and play video games all day. If you play an instrument you have to practice. Instead of playing video games you would be practicing your instrument. You will learn perseverance and that practicing makes perfect. It keeps you active and involved.

         By playing an instrument, you will learn if you are a musician. First of all, everyone has a special gift from God. Maybe music is your special gift. Don’t end up hiding your gift. Maybe playing music is very important so don’t ignore it. Maybe at first you find it very frustrating and hard to play, but after a while, you might be one of the best.

         Lastly, you will learn to appreciate musicians. When you play an instrument you will realize how hard they have worked to become good, and you will learn how to really admire them for how much work they’ve done. If you don’t play an instrument you will just know musicians by their name but you won’t really care.
